Our cultural tour takes you to urban South African communities to foster economic growth and cultural awareness and exchange by practicing responsible tourism principles and working with local communities and entrepreneurs. South Africa’s varied landscapes and numerous diverse peoples and cultures make it a rich country to explore!

Itinerary:

Participants will stay in 4-star accommodation in some of the most progressive cities in Africa. Johannesburg - City of Gold has a multiculturally vibrant history. Experience eclectic shopping and cosmopolitan glamour. Entertainment from Broadway style productions to theatres hosting talented local artists. The city of Cape Town - the Fairest Cape, is a cosmopolitan center. Dine at fine restaurants and sample South Africa’s palatable wines. Take in beautiful natural scenery and experience world heritage sites.

This tour includes nine nights’ accommodation, all meals, city tour, entertainment and performances, round trip transfers between airport and hotel, and ground transportation in South Africa. Price is based on double occupancy. A single supplement is available. Tour cost does not include airfare, visa, alcoholic beverages, gratuities, and incidental expenses.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome Johannesburg! Transfer to your hotel. Go to the tallest building in Africa for a panoramic view of Jozi.
Or relax in your luxurious accommodation at the Don Suites.
Day 2 Gain perspective of South Africa’s history at the Apartheid Museum. Explore Newtown Cultural Precinct in downtown Johannesburg.
Day 3 Visit historical sites on a tour of Soweto townships. Entertainment at one of Jozi’s top venues.
Day 4 View a range of awe-inspiring wildlife including the near-extinct African rhino at Krugersdorp Game Reserve.
Day 5 Take a walking tour of Melville, one of Johannesburg’s more lively neighborhoods Shopping at Rosebank African Crafts Market - one of Johannesburg’s premier markets. Entertainment at one of Jozi’s neighborhood area venues.
Day 5 Transfer to departure from Johannesburg airport. Welcome to CapeTown! Transfer to hotel. Walk along the bustling waterfront. Visit Two Oceans Aquarium, Maritime Museum, live bands, markets, and exclusive shops.
Day 6 Hop the ferry to Robben Island for a historical tour of the place where President Nelson Mandela was imprisoned.
Day 7 Visit District Six, townships, and cape flats with the opportunity to talk with the people and sample a traditional African meal.
Day 8 Ascend to the summit of Table Mountain for a breathtaking view over the city center and harbour.
Day 9 Day at your leisure. There are numerous exciting activities in CapeTown!
Day 10 Transfer to departure from Johannesburg airport via CapeTown airport.
